Volunteers Needed for Red Means Stop Traffic Safety Alliance
Teen Driver Education Recruitment – Help seek out teens from low-income households who are planning to obtain their drivers license.
Speakers needed – Our speakers bureau is always in need of speakers who would like to talk about traffic safety issues.
Safety Fairs – Help is needed to set up displays and represent Red Means Stop at safety fairs. Cities, corporations and Statewide safety events invite Red Means Stop to raise awareness regarding traffic safety.
Public Events – Volunteers needed to represent Red Means Stop at events such as parades, runs, bike races and holiday celebrations.
Marketing Materials Development and Book Publishing – Writers, illustrators and editors are needed to volunteer time to help Red Means Stop with development of new brochures, posters, books and safety booklets.
Public Relations – Volunteers are needed to help us spread the important messages regarding traffic safety. Contacts with newspapers, television, radio and magazines would help get the word out to the public.
Advocacy – Volunteers are needed to work on developing and supporting new legislature that would help to keep drivers, passengers, pedestrians and bicyclists safe.
